Considering what you have accomplished so far, what are your goals for the future?
My main focus for this upcoming season is to qualify for the Olympics in 2014. I would also like to compete and podium other events such as X-games, Dew Cup, some of the burton Opens etc. My main goal is to be the best snowboarder I can be, stay healthy and be successful. I
am a very passionate, dedicated, hard worker. I have no doubt in my mind I will keep pushing until I reach the top!
Do you like the direction that the sport of snowboarding has gone in since you could remember?
Snowboarding has had many rapid changes in a very short period of time, as we all know... in good/bad ways. My opinion on the topic is unconcerning, The sport changes and I stay with my grass roots, I have had the same love for the sport since day one. To me this is a sport of friends, freedom and limitless creativity!
What board are you going to be riding in the12/13 season?
I will be riding the echelon @$%$!&#^# (Top Secret info). It's new technology, perfect pop, and super play-full feel and graphics, This board is like nothing I have ever ridden!! Really exited to unleash this in competition!
Whats the hardest thing about your job?
The hardest thing about my job....thats a long list. Long story short, I think the hardest thing about snowboarding is the injury factor and keeping you head up through a loss. As we all know getting hurt is not fun, but it is a huge part of freestyle snowboarding, I feel that the two best ways around it are to make good judgement and to never let you guard down! As for losing, well when you win you sometimes expect to keep winning and a loss can hurt...badly so keeping your head up is very important and to not put too much pressure on yourself, just relax and go with the flow is what I tell myself !
Any nutrition secrets?
I am all about nutrition- eating the best I can to as healthy as possible. I don't do it just for snowboarding, but for many other sports I like to play!
If I had to say one thing about nutrition It would to be NATURAL, what do I mean by that- well No processed foods, Don't eat too much meat,
No Alcohol/tobacco. Fruits and veggies YES, Plant based foods YES, Water YES. Simple as that.
What are you doing when your not snowboarding?
When I am not snowboarding, I like to wakeboard, travel to oceanic places, train like I am competing to be the next Iron man. I really like to be outside all the time, I want to build a tree fort and live in the woods, thats how much I like it.
Lol, Ok Jungle Boy...Do you have any trips already planned for the12/13 season that you're stoked about?
I am extremely exited for the upcoming season, I have so much planned competition and travel wise! It will all be unleashed along the new site, that goes viral just before the season where fans and friends can follow and be apart of the many thrills of the snowboarding world!
We're looking forward to that. So, what is something that a lot of people don't know about you?
My friends dared me to ride my bike to school everyday junior and senior year of high school. So I did... It was far.... and it snowed.
How many days do you get to ride a year?
I get to ride a good amount, almost every day from Nov-April, then a little in between.

Favorite Trick : a Raily on a wakeboard.....................
