Considering what you have accomplished so far, what are your goals for the future?
Definitely make it to the Olympics and try to get a good result there. For the rest, I just want to enjoy snowboarding as long as possible!

Do you like the direction that the sport of snowboarding has gone in since you could remember?

It’s becoming pretty gnarly but I think style is still a big factor at the moment and as long as that stays in there snowboarding is still cool.

What board are you going to be riding in the12/13 season?

I’m riding the Burton CustomX 158

Whats the hardest thing about your job?

Travelling, all those trips are just really heavy. I spend a lot of time in airplanes and experience a lot of jet lags!

What movies are u in?

I’m in the new Burton movie “13”

Any nutrition secrets?

Nope, not really. I just try to eat healthy and eat a lot of fruit.

What are you doing when your not snowboarding?

In summer I enjoy to go surfing a lot.

At what age did you start snowboarding? Were you on Ski’s first?

I did start skiing before snowboarding. I started skiing when I was 3 years old and switched to snowboarding at the age of 9/

Family…What does it mean to you?

It means a lot. It’s always great for me to come back home and see my family again. But while I’m out snowboarding I don’t miss them that much though. But they have definitely been a support for me while growing up in snowboarding.

Do you have any trips planned for the 13 season that you’re stoked about?

I’m looking forward to some spring riding at the end of the year. This is always a more mellow time without contests and I enjoy this a lot!

What is something that a lot of people don’t know about you?

I’m never sure what to answer on this question. I always try to be myself and that’s how people know me.

What were you doing for work before you went pro?

I was in school, I never worked before I turned pro.

How many days do you get to ride a year?

Hard to say, probably about 8 months.
