Considering what you have accomplished so far, what are your goals for the future?
My goals are to use my time wisely, work hard and have the most fun ever when I ride, because I do my best when I'm having fun. I'm taking care of my body more for injury prevention and doing a lot of visualization. These are all steps I am taking to make the best of my season next winter. I think we are going to have another amazing season ahead of us. I'm excited.
Do you like the direction that the sport of snowboarding has gone in since you could remember?
Yeah, I mean there's a bunch of directions that snowboarding is going in. In the contest world, it seems like its going through a phase where no one really knows what is going to pop up next. One world tour like every other sport makes the most sense but there's too many head honchos trying to take control of everything. I think the riders need to start something similar like in surfing. And on the film side, there's a new wave of people doing their own thing, no need for film crews. It's kind of cool to see people come up with their own flare in their projects, as opposed to getting a video part edited by someone who has no idea who you are or what you represent.
What board are you going to be riding in the12/13 season?
The highlite for powder, the limelight for park, and a new women's board similar to the old 'wolfpack' that can ride everything.
