Considering what you have accomplished so far, what are your goals for the future?

My goals are to use my time wisely, work hard and have the most fun ever when I ride, because I do my best when I'm having fun.  I'm taking care of my body more for injury prevention and doing a lot of visualization.  These are all steps I am taking to make the best of my season next winter.  I think we are going to have another amazing season ahead of us.  I'm excited.

Do you like the direction that the sport of snowboarding has gone in since you could remember?

Yeah, I mean there's a bunch of directions that snowboarding is going in.  In the contest world, it seems like its going through a phase where no one really knows what is going to pop up next.  One world tour like every other sport makes the most sense but there's too many head honchos trying to take control of everything.  I think the riders need to start something similar like in surfing.  And on the film side, there's a new wave of people doing their own thing, no need for film crews.  It's kind of cool to see people come up with their own flare in their projects, as opposed to getting a video part edited by someone who has no idea who you are or what you represent.

What board are you going to be riding in the12/13 season?

The highlite for powder, the limelight for park, and a new women's board similar to the old 'wolfpack' that can ride everything.

Whats the hardest thing about your job?

    Office work!

    What movies are u in?

The latest film is 'Intervals', Hana Beaman's project.  And before that Standard Films 'TB20', Storming, Black Winter, Runway and Misschief Films.

    Any nutrition secrets?

I don't eat red meat anymore, and I try and avoid meats that have been filled with antibiotics.  I try and just eat whole foods. Grocery store shopping for me involves going around the perimeter of the store and buying things that haven't been processed.

What are you doing when your not snowboarding?

I love camping, biking, surfing, running, gym'ing it, yoga, hiking with  my dog, and hanging out with my family. I am also on my computer working, attending to sponsor obligations and charity work.

At what age did you start snowboarding? Were you on Ski's first?

16 years. Yes I ski raced for a few years as well, until my parents finally gave in and let us snowboard.

Family...What does it mean to you?

Family and good health are the 2 most important things in life.  I keep my family close.

Do you have any trips already planned for the12/13 season that you're stoked about?

I'm going on an early season trip to Indonesia for surfing and that's it so far. Other than that, I'll be based in Whistler and following the snow!

What is something that a lot of people don't know about you?

    That I love taking photos.

What were you doing for work before you went pro?

I finished university, got a Bachelor's of Science in Biomechanics and moved to Whistler and worked Landscaping, running MGT Snowboard camp and Earl's hostess.

How many days do you get to ride a year?

Probably 200+, not sure I don't count but a lot because I snowboard a little in the summer.

    Favorite mountain/run?

    Whistler Peak to Creek

    Favorite trick?

    frontside 3, or method

    Favorite workout?

surfing, snowboarding and snowmobiling. The best workouts are the ones when you don't even know you're workin' it.
