Considering what you have accomplished so far, what are your goals for the future?

I still have a lot of goals.  The biggest thing I could think of is winning snowboarder mags rider of the year,  that would be crazy! Also to just try and leave the biggest imprint I can in the snowboarding and possibly help impact some change!

Do you like the direction that the sport of snowboarding has gone in since you could remember?

Not really.  I feel every year I loose my stoke level a little bit with the things turn out or go.  The things and people that kids think are cool these days is absurd!  I hate the entire learning to jump into a bag shit!  Also some of the people who get hooked up and shit just cause they’re homies and just film terrible half ass parts we gotta sit through, that shit sucks!  When I was a young lad there were way fewer pros, but they all rode at a way higher level!  Some of the shit us kids film these days isn’t half as legit as what they were doing 10 years ago, they just add some fancy editing and wha-Bam!! your degressing snowboarding.  But don’t get me wrong, there are ALOT of really gnarly dudes out there still!

What board are you going to be riding in the 13/14 season?

I ride a Volcom snowboard, Signal had made them up till this season, now capita will be pressing them for us.  But I’m still riding the signals for now.

Whats the hardest thing about your job?

When you shovel for 8 hours to hit something 3 times.  It makes you feel like there is way more work than reward.  Some nights I would almost consider our crew a glorified snow removal crew!!

What movies are u in?

When I was 15 my homies and I made a movie called shredtastic, we had a full on premier and sold dvd’s, it was awesome we made enough money to buy a drop ramp.  Then I started working with the @ once crew from colorado for two years(have it, working out the kinks).  After that I worked with Role Model Productions for 3 years.  Those were for sure some of the best times Ive had filming!  Then 32 made a all AM movie called Ammo.  That was super sick cause it was the first real big project I did and they gave us pretty much control or everything for the movie.  Last year I filmed a online video part for Volcom(IP2).  This year I’ll be filming for Keep the Change as well as having some shots in Volcoms project again!

Any nutrition secrets?

Weed and Beer?  Its delicious and nutritious!  But for real I’ll eat mad fruit sometimes before trips and drink a bunch of tea too.

What are you doing when your not snowboarding?

Playing with my dog, she comes everywhere with me!  Skateboard.  Fishing.  A whole lot of camping and gun shooting!!

At what age did you start snowboarding?

Were you on Ski’s first?  My parents started me on skis when I was really young.  I couldn’t figure out how to stop and would always get smoked!  Also it didn’t take me long on the moutain to realize who my people where!  Snowboarders may be punks, but we are all way more down to earth and genuine than any skier I’ve ever met!  99 percent of those fucks are rich, arrogant, self centered, snobs!!! I started snowboarding when I was 7 years old.

Family…What does it mean to you?

My family is quite disfunctional!  I always have and always will consider my friends my family! Once I’m really close to someone they’ll be my brother for life!  I do as much as I can for my homies, cause they do the same for me!  I always try to help them in anyway I can cause I know I wouldn’t be shit without them and I’ve done all my growing and learning from my friends!!

What is something that a lot of people don’t know about you?

I love Katy Perry! Not just cause she sexy! She serenade me so sweetly!

What were you doing for work before you went pro?

Taco Bell, Land scaping, Janitor, ocasionally help teach kids to ride, the list goes on its all just a bunch of bull shit work!

How many days do you get to ride a year?

Too many to count! well over a 100 maybe over 200.  But with how much I put into filming these last couple years I’ve only got to go up to real mountains like 30 times or  more per year.

Favorite mountain/run?

Bear Mountain!  It was love at first site!  Pretty much the whole mountain is a park, and it has the best flow its like riding a skate park!

Favorite trick?

Back flip.

Favorite workout?

Pulling the Banshee Bungie!
